We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our dynamic crew onboard the Scenic Spirit. This is a full-time position requiring work and residence on either ship along the Mekong River. The role involves being part of a rotational leave schedule.

- The employee's standard working hours will be determined by the roster set by the Head of Department and approved by HR. This schedule operates on the basis of a rotational leave arrangements, which becomes applicable after completing the probationary period.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and provide courteous, prompt service at the front desk.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, including all necessary paperwork and transactions.
- Assist guests with information about ship services, destinations, and excursion details.
- Respond to guest inquiries and address any concerns or requests to ensure their comfort.
- Manage administrative tasks, including compiling daily reports and managing reservations.
- Coordinate with other onboard departments to handle guest issues and ensure seamless service.
- Ensure the security of guests and vessel, monitoring entrance points and reporting suspicious activities.
- Basic first aid and knowledge of safety procedures on board the ship.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles is highly desirable.
- Onboard language, English – is a (“MUST”) fluent English (spoken), good (written), and requires speaking English all the times with colleagues, Hotel Manager, and Customers when on duty.
- Ability to multitask and handle guest requests promptly.
- Works well in a team, with a guest-centered approach.
- Willingness to work overnight shifts and adapt to a dynamic and confined living environment.
- Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
