Position: Sponsorship Volunteer (SOS Children's Villages of Cambodia)__Deadline:20-September

SOS Children’s Villages Cambodia is the national chapter of SOS Children Villages which is an independent non-governmental organization currently operational in 135 countries worldwide including 14 countries in Asia Region. At SOS we are committed to the child care and protection through various alternate care and family strengthening programs to strengthen families and communities as a preventive measure in the fight against abandonment and social neglect of children without parental care or children at the risk of losing parental care. We build families for children in need; we help them shape their own future; and we share in the development of their communities.

Reports to : Sponsorship Coordinator

Duty Location : National Office, Phnom Penh

Department : Sponsorship

The Sponsorship Volunteer works closely with the national sponsorship officers and coordinator at the National Office to support and provide effective performance standards for the improvement collect data information, and ensure they are compliant with organizational policies and sponsorship guidelines and retaining sponsors.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Assist the supervisor in tracking, monitoring, and controlling children’s parcels in the monitoring sheet
• Support supervisor in folding and preparing child welcome letter, thank you letter, and end-year report for sending to sponsors
• Ensure all letters before sending to CVs and sponsors no sensitive information
• Assist of child with thank you letter translation if needed
• Support direct supervisor in checking and following up on pending tasks
• Assist assigned work from the supervisor for maintaining sponsorship performance
• Adapting and aiming to learn new things
• Prepares monthly action plan to build the capacities of co-workers, children, young people and families to recognise signs of abuse and how to prevent it.
