Position: Sale and Marketing Manager (Buddhism for Social Development Action)__Deadline:15-September


In 2005, the NGO BSDA (Buddhism for Social Development Action) was founded by seven Buddhist monks, who wanted to give something back to their community. They started modestly and have grown over the years. Today, they have a boarding school for very disadvantaged children and offer them a job/internship as soon as they turn sixteen. Hanchey Bamboo Resort opened its doors to worldwide visitors in October 2018 and is BSDA's latest jewel. It functions as a  training center for  the NGO's beneficiaries to learn and gain hospitality environment’s necessary skills. Hanchey Bamboo Resort is a hotel nestled in the countryside, only 25 km from the city of Kampong Cham. It is not only a training center but also a place to relax, unwind, and discover real life in Cambodia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing Marketing Strategies: Craft comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to our target audience, emphasizing the unique offerings and benefits of our retreat. This includes identifying key demographics, market trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Digital Marketing: Execute digital marketing campaigns across various platforms such as social media, email marketing, and online advertising. Create engaging content that resonates with our audience and drives traffic to our website and booking platforms.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling content, including blog posts, videos, and visual assets, that showcase the retreat experience and align with our brand values.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Forge partnerships with local businesses, travel agencies, influencers, and wellness communities to expand our reach and attract new clients. Explore opportunities for cross-promotion and joint events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with past, present, and potential clients. Provide personalized assistance and support throughout the booking process, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience from inquiry to departure.
  • Up Sell product: Maximize the revenue by upsell the current products and design new packages, activities to attract more clients provide useful information about resort to various partners, customers and assist with quotation, pricing details when needed.
  • Internal Cooperation: Work closely with inside operation team to ensure all services and products delivered to customer with memorable and special experience. Share knowledge and insight with top management about new innovation, ideas for improvement.

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing or hospitality
  • Proven experience in event organizing or retreats.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Minimum one year experience in hospitality field or related filed
