We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced teachers and staff to join our team in various capacities in the upcoming school.
Job Responsibility
Financial Reporting
- Produce monthly and yearly Balance Sheet and P&L reports and provide regular briefing to the school management.
- Produce and regularly update Cash Flow reports.
- Review and analyze booking records in the system - all GLs; fixed-asset and other inventory records, to ensure correct and accurate accounting.
- Upon the completion of all bookings, reconcile the monthly accounting statements in the system.
- When assigned, help to control major booking and confidential transactions in the system such as payroll, NSSF, Insurance, monthly tax payments.
Financial Analysis
- Prepare Monthly Business Report (MBR) to analyze actual expense vs. budget and regularly present the analysis to the management.
- Administer and formulate various financial data and reportings for different required purposes, including that for future investments.
- Produce annual budget plans in collaboration with all departments.
- Conduct regular analysis of school wide action plans against the budget plan, and provide due recommendations to ensure the cost effectiveness of the school’s resources and expenditures.
Internal Control
- Lead the development of the Financial Module of the desired digitized system to tailor a sound Financial System for the school.
- Assist in the development and execution of the financial side of the payroll digital system.
- Assist in the development of the financial side of the school parents’ portal.
- Ensure that all internal processes are aligned with the school policy and finance policy.
- Provide inputs to the top management to address internal and external risks to the business.
Tax and Accounting Compliance
- Review and process the monthly tax declaration.
- Coordinate with the auditors to administer the regular auditing process for the board.
- Work with the Accounting and Auditing Regulator (ACAR) authority to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with the banks on loans and depositing information to manage the company’s loan and fixed deposits.
Financial Strategic Execution
- Regularly review and execute payroll and staff benefit payments through the Odoo system and the transfer through i-banking.
- Review and approve all payments before processing to suppliers.
- When assigned, handle HQ petty cash for immediate and urgent expenses.
Other responsibilities
- Attend to the daily inquiries on whole-school financial matter
- Other tasks assigned by the Board/Management
- Assist in the management and supervision of the accounting staff/team members, when assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
- Professional accountancy qualification (CPA, CA or equivalent) (preferable).
- At least 5 years experience in a similar capacity and at management positions.
- Good knowledge of the digitalized financial management system.
- English communication skills, spoken & written.
- Proven analytical skills and ability to produce practical financial data analysis for businesses.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching and counseling skills.
- Demonstrated positive attitude and problem solving skills
- Experienced in conducting training, policy briefing and event organizing.
- Demonstrated professionalism and personal integrity.
- Ability to work under pressure and with all people from all backgrounds, particularly in multicultural and diverse working environments.
