LICADHO is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the position of Grants Manager, based in LICADHO’s Phnom Penh office. The main purpose of the position is to ensure all aspects of the organisation's grant management lifecycle, from application and compliance to reporting and close-out, as well as working closely with LICADHO’s finance and documentation teams to improve organisational projects and strengthen internal systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program staff, documentation teams, and finance personnel to address grant-related inquiries and requirements.
- Collaborate closely with program teams to coordinate the collection, analysis, and timely submission of progress reports and supporting documentation. Prepare and monitor budgets and reports in cooperation with the finance team.
- Manage and maintain comprehensive grant records and deadline tracking system with donor contracts, reports, and all other key documents to support audit and compliance efforts.
- Attend donor meetings and workshops when required. Liaise with partners and donors to build and maintain relationships to facilitate better cooperation.
- Work with key staff to strengthen internal systems, including organisational policy, procedural, reporting, and administrative documents and tools used for grant management.
- Assist to maintain and ensure accuracy of LICADHO’s centralised electronic case databases, working closely with documentation staff.
- Cooperate with program staff to improve monitoring and evaluating methods.
- Assist organisational directors, management committee and other senior staff to draft, edit and finalise key external correspondence to donors, INGOs, embassy representatives and other international stakeholders.
- University degree in relevant field; bachelor degree required, advanced degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience with NGOs, preferably in the region.
- Familiarity with institutional funding requirements and databases, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex grant portfolios for NGOs.
- Native-level fluency in English with an ability to edit and proofread to a professional level and ensure numerical accuracy. Knowledge of Khmer a major asset.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills are essential, as is a deep commitment to the mission and values of the organisation.
- Ability to manage and meet competing deadlines; strong organisational skills a must.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision in diverse team environments; honest and hardworking.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, knowledge of Adobe InDesign an asset.
