Cambodian Transmission II Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Leader Energy Group. LEADER ENERGY was founded in 1994 when its subsidiary signed the first IPP concession agreement in Cambodia with the State utility Electricite du Cambodge. In conjunction with the power project, we upgraded Phnom Penh’s transmission network capabilities to enable the distribution of power throughout the city. Location: Phnom Penh to Laos Border
The position is for 2 Years Contract
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design transmission lines, including overhead lines, underground cables, towers, conductors, insulators, and transformers, while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct electrical system analysis to ensure optimal performance, including voltage regulation, power factor correction, and load balancing.
- Select appropriate materials for construction, considering factors such as conductivity, strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
- Estimate costs associated with design, construction, and maintenance, and develop budgets and cost projections for projects.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, structural engineers, and project managers, to coordinate design efforts and meet project goals.
- Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering technologies, materials, and methodologies to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements.
- Oversee quality assurance processes and conduct field tests and inspections to verify the integrity and functionality of electrical systems and components.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress to ensure adherence to deadlines and budgets.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in designing electrical systems, preferably in transmission line infrastructure.
- Proficiency in CAD software and electrical system simulation tools.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, transmission line design standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct thorough electrical system analysis and optimization.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in design and construction.
- License Electrical Engineer (EE) preferred.
- Experience with project management software and familiarity with industry-specific software tools and databases.
