Job Title    : Truck Operational Officer
Location    : PHNOM PENH & Provinces Occasionally [Full-Time]
Deadline submission: 23 May 2024

Responsible for performance of general trucking operations. Responsible for ensuring the fleet operate in a safe manner and follow all safe operating procedures. Responsible for coordination with maintenance contractor the fleet maintenance and servicing. Make sure truck available to the operation at all time.

Duty & Responsibilities:

• Monitor truck drivers to ensure they follow all operational procedures and comply with all safety regulations
• Monitor all drivers to ensure they wear all required and necessary PPE.
• Monitor all drivers to ensure they perform pre-trip and post trip checks, filling out forms daily and submitting them
• to the Supervisor.
• Inspect the trucks and trailer before and after trips and submit fault report.
• Keep in close contact with drivers to coordinate movements between the pickup place and delivery place and
• report all issues and hazards as may be required.
• Arrange and supervise general operation and ensure all vehicles and drivers compliance with all operational
• procedures.
• Routinely review and audit vehicle pre-check and post-check forms to ensure compliance to according to SOP
• Maintains the delivery schedule or telephone contact with warehouse Supervisors to coordinate truck movements.
• Submit daily report on operational issues and solutions.
• Support and work with other staff and contractors as required.

General:

• Monitoring of GPS and trip records and reports.
• Maintain staff rosters.
• Monitoring of monthly invoice for haulage
• Monitoring of contractor monthly payment.
• Monitoring of petty cash, cash advance and staff allowance.
• Monitoring of stationary, cleaning supply, small tools and equipment

Requirements:  

• A high school qualification or equivalent.
• A degree in business management, logistics or a related field.
• Prior experience at least 3 year as a transport coordinator or a similar role.
• Good command in spoken, written English.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to problem-solve.
• Excellent organizational skills and communication skills
