PURPOSE
The Provincial Sales Manager (PSM) will support iDE’s Waste Management Market Acceleration (WaMA) Pilot in Boribo district by leading the Sales Team to sell solid waste collection services and directly managing the Senior Sales Agents.
WORKING RELATIONSHIP
The PSM reports directly to Solid Waste Management Team Lead (SWMTL) and s/he frequently works also in collaboration and coordination with the WaMA team, Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) team, and local authorities.

PURPOSE

The PSM reports directly to Solid Waste Management Team Lead (SWMTL) and s/he frequently works also in collaboration and coordination with the WaMA team, Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) team, and local authorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Management and Strategy: Work with the SWMTL to set monthly and quarterly sales goals. Supervise Senior Sales Agents (SSA) and support management of Sales Agents (SA) to solve problems and meet sales targets. Lead recruitment of SSA/SAs. Support SSA/SAs in the field through training, one-on-one coaching, team sales meetings, and working together in the field.
- Project Monitoring: Facilitate organization and presentation of sales performance data, in collaboration with monitoring team members. Analyze the daily sales situation of each SSA’s sales team and collect facts to understand reasons for high/low performance.
- Collaboration: Build relationships and cooperation with NGOs, local authorities, and other relevant organizations in the area. Communicate and attend relevant meetings hosted by authorities and other stakeholders at the provincial, district or commune levels.
- Financial Management: Create a budget plan and share with SWMTL. Execute operations on budget as planned and reasonable. Ensure that all expenses and receipts are justified, accurate and consistent, in line with iDE Finance policies.
- Administrative Management: Manage and oversee district sales team attends weekly and monthly meetings. Support SAs with administrative needs in coordination with relevant administrative, finance, and management personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Graduated from university with bachelor degree or higher
- Proficiency reading and writing in Khmer and English language
- Significant experience in sales, marketing or business management
- Strong ability in planning, leading, coaching, managing staff
- Some experiences in community development, including collaboration and working with local authority (village/commune chief).
- Experience in organizing meetings or discussion with rural households.
- Ability to ride and own a motorcycle and smartphone.
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Smartphone.
- Ability to compile basic operational data and reports and conduct analysis.
