is currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of School Academic Coordinator (Primary) based in Phnom Penh.
The School Academic Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the primary school curriculum to ensure quality and coverage of planning. He/she supports the development of the recruitment and site-induction process of primary staff. The incumbent of this role provides a curriculum focusing on Content Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), teaching, and learning support, especially in English subjects. The position also supports Learning Support Program (LSP) classes for students to work towards a zero-class repetition (all students going up to next year’s level) approach.

Key Responsibilities
- 1. Coordinate the primary school curriculum with a focus on CLIL to ensure quality and coverage of planning
- 2. Lead collaborative planning and support teaching teams that focus on content, instruction, and assessment
- 3. Provide teachers with materials and professional development for the successful execution of their teaching
- 4. Establish concrete goals and actively support teachers with any issues regarding curriculum, instruction, and assessment
- 5. Analyze data related to student achievement and recommend actions for any improvement
- 6. Review and check teacher’s planning, assessment methodology, teaching tool kits, and follow-up of the Long Term Plan (LTP) and Medium Term Plan (MTP)
- 7. Conduct classroom observations to ensure the quality of implementation for school improvement initiatives
- 8. Coordinate and support extra classes for students to work toward a zero-class retention (all students going up to next year's level) approach
- 9. Lead student project showcases and coordinate volunteers to support the English program
- 10. Work with the academic team to facilitate the ICT program at primary school to function smoothly
- 11. Facilitate social events, meetings, and field trips and conduct contests to promote learning quality
- 12. Work closely with the School Manager to support the development of a site induction process and ensure all teachers are aware and understand
Requirements
- 1. Ethical and able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work
- 2. Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- 3. At least 3 years experience in teaching and/or as an Academic Coordinator from Early Childhood Education to Primary School levels
- 4. A Certificate of Pedagogical for primary school is an asset
- 5. Good knowledge of education management, leadership, and supervisory skills
- 6. Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Khmer
- 7. Computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, internet and email)
- 8. Able to take high responsibility, be flexible, and committed
- 9. Honest, trustworthy, patient, respectful, and helpful
- 10. High compassion and commitment to work with our community and children from a difficult background
- 11. Working Days/Hours: 07:30 am-12:00 pm and 01:30 pm-05:00 pm from Monday to Saturday(full-time)
