Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) is the field country office of Good Neighbors International working in 41 countries in the world. GNC is implementing long-term development program focusing on sponsorship, child protection, education, health, WASH, income generation & partnership building and advocacy in 6 Community Development Programs and 1 Social Enterprise in 4 provinces and 1 city of Cambodia. GNC is now working with key sustainability partners and relevant departments of government and NGOs to promote positive impacts for vulnerable people, especially children.
Based in Koh Nhaek District, Mondulkiri Provinces
Besides basic salary, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary and other benefits such as 13th-month salary, seniority fund, health, life and accident insurance for 24 hours, and phone card allowance. Moreover, working condition comply and benefit with Cambodia Labor Law.
Responsible:
- Develop curriculum of agriculture techniques and business solutions for Agriculture Cooperative (AC), Income Generation Group (IGG) improvement as well as project models and new project initiatives.
- Prepare proper tools, procedures and/or identify appropriate options and market assessment for IGP in the CDPs’ sites.
- Conduct regular monitoring, coaching to check progress of Income program activity at target areas.
- Supervising the data collection, and manages sales to maximize profits and minimize expenses following the sales strategy in the different markets
- Consolidate and produce reports (Monthly, Quarterly or annual data collection, monitoring report, case study) to demonstrate IGP’s outcomes to line managers and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with relevant key partners, government officers and stakeholders, private sector, INGOs/NGOs, MFIs, and Banks for the benefit of IGP or relevant income generation group.
- Facilitate and coordinate training on agriculture technique to project participants and key partners.
- Facilitate and develop business plans for ACs and IGGs to run agri-business or other potential business items for the target communities of GNC.
- Assist in market research to initiate new business for AC and IGGs.
- Other tasks as required by the line manager or Management team.
Requirement:
- University Degree in agriculture, economic development, and other related fields
- 3-year experience in agriculture development, Income Generation, Agri-business etc.
- Good analytical, research and report writing skills
- Experience in project design, implementation, monitoring & evaluation
- Good in spoken and written English and Computer skill (Ms word, Excel, PPT)
- Honest and trustworthy, hard-working and willing to learn and travel to project sites
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of groups and individuals and establish and maintain networks.
