Business Service and Communication
As a Business Service and Communication at GAEA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's waste management and recycling initiatives. You will be responsible for fostering public relationships, driving corporate social responsibility programs, and overseeing new projects aimed at promoting a circular economy. This role reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with various departments to align operations with GAEA's mission of environmental awareness and sustainable waste management practices.

PUBLIC RELATIONSHIP
- Develop and maintain relationships with local and provincial authorities to facilitate GAEA's waste management and recycling initiatives. Act as the company's representative in meetings and negotiations, ensuring alignment with GAEA's mission and compliance with local and national regulations.
- Attend meetings with authorities when required and provide action plans for waste management in Siem Reap to City Hall, DoE, Provincial Hall.
- Support administrative tasks for any needs related to local authorities.
- Act as GAEA's representative in meetings with NGOs and businesses, aiming to foster partnerships and collaborations.
- Participate in GAEA's environmental and social commitments, provide recommendations, and represent GAEA in relevant platforms.
- Update and present GAEA improvement reports, including quarterly and annual reports, focusing on key performance indicators.
- Lead GAEA's Glass Recycling Project, setting specific sustainability goals aligned with GAEA's mission. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful implementation, operation, and monitoring.
- Provide comprehensive action plans for new sustainability projects and coordinate with teams for implementation and follow-up.
- Collaborate with businesses, NGOs, and schools to improve waste collection and promote cleanliness.
- Identify and implement waste management solutions in underprivileged areas, aligning with GAEA’s broader social responsibility goals.
- Develop waste management training materials for community education and skill training materials for internal staff.
- Conduct waste management training sessions for schools, NGOs, and communities.
- Manage GAEA's social media platforms with a focus on environmental education, project announcements, and customer engagement.
- Support the Customer Service team in meetings with targeted customers, such as local businesses and government agencies.
- Provide action plans and coordinate with authorities, the Customer Service department, and the Operations department to expand waste collection services.

- Advanced degree in Management, Environmental Sciences or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Management Level, preferably in project-driven environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, (Khmer and English)
- Competency in Microsoft Office programmers and familiarity with project management software.
- Experience in data analytics tools for monitoring and evaluation.
- Experience managing/ training staff.
- Experience working with national/international NGOs or companies
- Strong work ethic, resilience, and commitment to collaborating with other departments.
- Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, including Sub-decree 113.
- Independent, resilient, self-motivated and be able to work on own initiative whilst also being team player
- Willingness to take new tasks/ responsibilities when required.
- Honesty, reliable and work with integrity.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues, partners/managers at all levels
- Takes responsibilities for own roles and is self-directed.
