PURPOSE OF POSITION
To collect and respond to feedback and complaints provided by children, young people and communities, to respond to this feedback, and continuously improve program activities based on received feedback.
FUNCTIONS and TASKS
Jobholder Plan:
- Plan for action to be taken to address identified issues.
- Individual Training and Development plan.
- Annual, quarterly and monthly workplan.
- Promote child friendly communication
- Promote dialogue between service provider and beneficiary
- Capability building VFP, CFP, core parent, VHSG in cooperation with DoE, DAFF, DoRD local authority and local authority
- Develop case management and categorization
- Designs action plans of activities, and understand clear approach of conflition solution and facilitation skill and integrates program
- Annual operational plans based on proposal
Outputs and deliverable:
1. Establish the collaboration/relationship with local authority , NGOs and concerning stakeholders:
- Build close relationships and actively engage with VFP, CFP, VHSG, HC, DoE, DAFF, Do RD… for
- fidelity of project implementation.
- Promote health and hygiene practice among community members to ensure all project intervention is fairly reach real poor /vulnerable groups.
- Connect with local authority to promote in community Event regarding child and youth safe mechanism
- Linkages to any inter-agency feedback mechanisms (if applicable
- Collect and keeping all concerning project data related,
- Collective feedback Event in community (integrated Event in Result 1 of 1000 days)
- Dealing with Phone Call/Hotline, message
- Suggestion Boxes and home visit
- Cooperate representation of donor for documentation , case study/managment
2. Capacity building to children council:
- Coordinate/facilitate BK technical staff and Plan to provide training on package of child friend Feedback Mechanism
- Cooperate with Office of agriculture, office of rural development , DoE to raise awareness on how to send friend message from project implementation
- Participate in the project reflection and learning from others.
3. Learning within community:
- Facilitate community such as village/commune chief, district authority relevant stakeholder define any topic for training and for self learning.
- Mobilize resource from community to share their knowledge and experiences which contribute Behaviors change .
4. Project planning, implementation and monitoring and evaluation with community:
- Maintain good record of project activities, data and documentation of best practice.
- Lead and empower core parent, VHSG to do regular reflection based on community based issues by using participatory approach.
- Work technical team to set-up the development plan and make the project request to concerning supporters/donors for getting support and implement it in effectively manner,
- Facilitate and empower teacher, P/ Do E and school support committee to engage in the project activities implementation, monitoring and evaluation,
- Develop annual, quarterly, monthly work plans and update together with other staff.
- Facilitate and carry out all project activities to implement and monitoring as timely manner.
5. Child Protection Deliverable Outputs:
- Inform children, school, teacher, P/DoE, school support committee, core parent, VHSG, local authority and communities on a regular basis about child protection (CP).
- Ensure that all cases received in confidential
- Ensure that all message, cases and phone message be responsive
- Ensure all information about children is kept and disposed of safely in accordance with Bandos Komar CP procedures
6. Other duties:
- All tasks/activities that line manager required to do
LEVEL/SCOPE OF DUTIES:
The post holder oversees:
- Monitoring and evaluation of all program activities within site assigned.
- All programs/projects requirements are aligned with Bandos Komar approach and donor requirement.
- Ensure programs/projects/activities are implemented as planned and the reporting requirements adhere to Bandos Komar’s standards/ procedures/policies.

Qualification and Experiences:
Education:
- Bachelor’ degree or equivalent in social/community development and other related fields.
Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of communication
- Good knowledge of integration project
- Knowledge of computer operation on Micro-Soft Office
- Good knowledge about PRA tools
- Good knowledge about gender/child right and child development
- Good knowledge about community development concept
- Knowledge in English language
Experiences:
- At least 02 yeara working experience in community development.
- Experience working with children
- Hands-on experience in participatory approaches and empowerment to community
