In preparation for the effective execution of next Strategic Plan 2024-2026, Phase IV “Collective Actions Against Corruption (CA2C)”, TI Cambodia is recruiting a dynamic and highly qualified Video Editor and Cameraman Consultant to join our dynamic team.
Having recognized key challenges facing Cambodia, particularly widespread corruption and shrinking civic space, TI Cambodia will launch and execute a “Tres Ris (Critical Thinking) Digital Education Programme” to maximize the use of social media specifically Facebook and YouTube to keep the public informed of issues of public concerns.
2. Overall Goal of the position:
TI Cambodia is seeking to recruit a video editor and cameraman consultant to join its dynamic team in producing video stories for its new programme, Tres Ris Digital Education Programme. 3. Objectives
The project comprises two main components: “Tres Ris (Critical Thinking) investigative story videos” and “The Conversation”. Tres Ris aims to raise public awareness and inform the public about corruption related issues, freedom of expression, democratic governance and rule of law, and Human Rights in Cambodia, and to promote youth and women engagement in policy making process pertaining to their civic and political rights.

The consultant will be responsible for the following deliverables:
- Undertaking video filming and shooting with interviews
- Directing photography and videography of Tres Ris programme
- Developing and capturing scenes for story narration and angles
- Reviewing storyboards and script and contributing to story building and planning
- Editing footages/Graphic and effects/Coloring of videos for the programme (3 investigative story videos and 10 pre-recorded podcast series)
- Setting scenes and flows for indoor and outdoor shooting
- Managing video and photo files and data
5. Required Knowledge, Experiences, and Skills
The consultant is required to possess:
- Good understanding of video production for investigative story, story and scene setting, and concepts and scenes development for investigative videos and podcast series
- Good knowledge of video/photo production equipment
- Proven record of sufficient filming and video editing programmes, equipment and materials
- Demonstrated commitment to contribute to shooting and producing materials for Tres Ris Programme
- Demonstrated experiences in shooting appealing landscapes, scenes, and visual content
- Passion and commitment to achieving TI Cambodia’s mission and goals and a commitment to the organisation’s core values;
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and with a high level of commitment to ensure all outputs are achieved on time and to a high standard
6. Type of supervision and station
- The consultant must work closely with and under supervision of the communication unit for the whole duration of the contract.
- The consultant must contribute to team work and assignment with producer and anchor to produce quality deliverables for the programme.
