Project Site: Phnom Penh and Srei Santhor District, Kampong Cham Province Project Period: 1st April 2020 -31st March 2025
Overall Goal: Nutrition education with Food Based Dietary Guidelines (FBDG) is provided to school-aged children nationwide.
Project Purpose: The basis for national implementation of nutrition education with FBDG for school-aged children is established.

- School Health Department (SHD) of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) is able to conduct
- the nutrition education with FBDG.
- Model of community/school-based nutrition education with FBDG is created at target schools.
- FBDG is promoted through integrated activities by partners.

Major Responsibilities
- Prepare training materials and coordinate the training schedule with counterparts;
- Assist to facilitate meeting/training as well as promotion activities of FBDG and nutrition education;
- Facilitate activities at the target schools and monitor their initiatives/ownership;
- Facilitate to conduct the assessment activities such as FFQ, WASH and Nutrition assessment, data management and analysis with the support from nutrition specialist;
- Facilitate the meeting with stakeholder at target schools such SMC, SHC, PoEYS, and DoEYS.
- Facilitate activities in target school to create healthy learning environment such as refresher training on school gardening, health education room, and WASH and equipment support;
- Assist to provide online trainings to telegram group members upon the request;
- Assist NEPP team to produce activity reports, operational plan, formal letters, meeting minutes and PR articles in English and/or Khmer;
- Translate relevant documents from English to Khmer and vice versa, and interpret for expatriates during workshops and meetings;
- Build a good cooperation and understanding between FIDR and project counterparts as well as relevant agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree holder or equivalent on health, education or other majors related to social development.
- Strong interests in nutrition and health promotion.
- At least 2-year work experience in development projects (Preferably in the health-related field, survey and data analysis, trainings, education-related filed, or community development).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent command of written and oral English enough to communicate with expatriates.
- Computer literacy with competence in Word, Excel, Power Point, Photoshop, Zoom, Google Meet, etc.
- Creative and flexible person who can work well under pressure and perform multiple tasks.
- High commitment to work as NGO staff.
