Location: Pailin /Battambang Operations Office
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: 657-793 USD
The position is responsible for facilitating the implementation and monitoring the project activities according to the approved project design and aligned with the donor rules and regulations; working closely with other staff, partners and stakeholders in the community to achieve the project goal to develop inclusive and sustainable rural communities through improved living conditions, increased sustainable income, and strengthened governance for rural development with close cooperation with District Administrative, Commune Council, VDC, READA, other contractor deployed by KOICA and community people.
Major Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor activities related to community-based development.
- Provide training to Village Development Committee (VDC), and relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with READA and monitor their training activities at the field.
- Support the selection of project beneficiaries in accordance with the beneficiary selection criteria.
- Support the development of annual plan, budget, and procurement plan for the assigned target district.
- Facilitate with key partners to provide services and technical support to target poor farmers for increasing incomes and profits through horticulture farming.
- Assist and coach farmers agriculture production and market linkages
- Coordinate with VDC and Agricultural Cooperative (AC) to mobilize resources and supports directly to target poor farmers.
- Support and monitor the village projects including the construction of WASH facilities and infrastructures at school, health center and villages.
- Represent the project to attend meetings or forums that organized at village, commune and district levels.
Knowledge and Qualifications
- At least 2 years experiences in agriculture, Social, livelihood development, community development, or any relevant roles.
- Experiences in coordination and facilitation on technical training of agriculture and livelihood or income generation to communities
- Experience in project and program design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and report writing.
- Bachelor Degree in Agriculture or Agronomy or Rural Development or Economic Development, or equivalence.
- Knowledge in community mobilization techniques.
- Analytical/problem solving skills and details orientation skills.
- Competent in verbal and written English communication.
- Can work independently as well as work well in a team.
- Exhibits gentleness, humbleness, and patience.
- Computer literate; Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Willing to travel and stay overnight in the rural community.
