CIAT is a KOICA training program that aims to build the capacity of
partner countries by sharing Korea’s development experience and
technical skills with policy makers, public officials and experts from
various fields. Based on the Korea’s experience that human resources
played a crucial role in national development, KOICA provides targeted
training programs to develop quality human resources for developing
countries. By partnering with diverse organizations, including
government agencies, think-tanks and universities, KOICA is committed to
providing high quality education and training programs. And, in return,
CIAT programs are receiving positive feedback and evaluations from the
foreign trainees. The returned trainees create the ‘KOICA Club’ to
promote continuous exchange among the alumni of CIAT after the end of
the fellowship program and to share the knowledge acquired during the
program with other fellows. They also contribute to making a positive
impact on their countries’ development and maintaining friendly
long-term relations with Korea
From 1994 until 2020, KOICA has invited approximately 3182 Cambodian officials to attend the training courses in Korea.

Country-specific program is a 3-year consecutive training program provided by CIAT program, reflecting the demand and reality of a specific partner country. |
Scholarship Program |
Scholarship Program is designed to nurture potential talents in recipient countries who are expected to contribute to the socio-economic development of their home countries by offering them an opportunity to obtain a master's degree. It is opened only for the Cambodian government officials or the staff of public institutions, who has a bachelor's degree |
