Lead Teachers (Phnom Penh)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Run the program meetings twice a term
• Conduct PD workshop for the program teachers once a term
• Mark Placement Tests for new student
• To arrange mentors for new teachers to ACE and to recommend level moderators for each level of the program
• To arrange peer observations for new teachers which best meet their academic needs
• To observe new and experienced teachers at ACE and to provide constructive feedback to them
• To assist with timetabling, assessments and assisting with enrolment procedures for failing or borderline students
• To provide administrative and educational support for teachers to ensure that the highest possible service is provided to students
• To counsel students with regards to issues such as attendance, motivation, and level
• To monitor, evaluate, and develop material for the program curriculum and materials
• To oversee the program documents and course materials on the server, and to ensure that such documents are up-to-date and relevant
• Any other duties as directed by the Campus Manager

Key Requirements:

1. A Bachelor Degree and an ELT related qualification (A Master Degree in TESOL/Applied Linguistics is preferred)
2. Good communicative, inter-personal skills and team player capabilities
3. Good organizational and time management skills
4. Strong commitment to professional and personal integrity and ethical conduct
5. Ability to engage and work in a multicultural environment
6. Strong command of English
