RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Running an Investment Sales driven technology office in English language
- Can translate from Khmer to English on demand
- Communication Skills: You will be collaborating with co-workers, management, direct reports and in some cases customers. You will need to be able to listen and communicate effectively.
- You will need to motivate, discipline and resolve conflicts on a regular basis.
- Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
- Maintains office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Analytical Skills: How can the company save money? Are we getting the most out of our printer? You will find inefficiencies and cost-savings as part of your day-to-day job.
- Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
- Maintains office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- English Language skills very strong with ability to always speak in English
- Ability to lead and manage an office of Sales staff, financial persons, and IT staff
- Proven experience as an Office manager, Front office manager or Administrative assistant
- Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
- Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
- Familiarity with email mass marketing and scheduling tools, like Email Scheduler and Boomerang
- High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
