RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working in an English environment
- Manage workflow by assigning tasks to other administrative
- employees daily, ensuring that deadlines are met and work
- is completed correctly
- Assist in training staff members and new hires
- Implement and monitor programs as directed by --
- management, and see the programs through to completion
- Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate
- Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment,
- including computers, copy machines and fax machines
- Maintain office supplies by checking inventory and order
- items
- Respond to questions and requests for information
- Answer incoming calls and assume other receptionist duties
- when needed
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the
- posting process
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day
- book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage
- Perform partial checks of the posting process
- Complete tax forms
- Enter data, maintain records and lunch reports and financial
- statements
- Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in
- a timely manner
- Assist tax professionals and tax consultants in handling
- Taxation matters.
- Organize and manage all tax reports, statements and
- Documents relating to clients.
- Assist and support administrative staff of the tax
- Department.
- Must have strong English language skills
- Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word,
- PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve
- efficiency
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced
- office environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- Superior organization skills and dedication to completing -
- projects in a timely manner
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting
- payable/receivable principles
- Using office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and
- scanners
- Having basic mathematical skills
- Bachelor’s degree is ideal though experience is preferred
