Position: IT Network Engineer -- PSE

Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE) or For a Child’s Smile is a non-profit organization and founded by Christian and Marie-France des Pallières, was established since 1995 in Cambodia. PSE’s mission is to help the most marginalised and debrided children escape from destitution and lead them to decent, skilled and well remunerated jobs. PSE has six main programmes adapted to the needs of the children, those programmes include: food, health, protection, education and schooling, vocational training, and helping families. PSE employs more than 600 employees and provides help to more than 6,500 children and 3000 families. We are operating in Phnom Penh, Sihanouk Ville and Siem Reap.  We are looking for qualified candidates for the positions below.

IT Network Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

• Help the ITD ensuring PSE needs are met (especially QoS)
• Assist the ITD in revising the network design if needed (Old Campus)
• Set-up the roll out planning with the selected contractor and ensure adherence to this planning
• Ensure proper coordination between PSE and the contractor
• Control the subcontractor at technical level
• Responsible/configure the network
• Identify and mitigate risks
• Perform network administration
• Design acceptance tests and verify they are met
• Define minimum set of processes
• Act as level 2 or 3 expert in conjunction with network supervision and admin
• Organize exchange of information with local staff on an ongoing basis

Requirement:

1. Windows o Active Directory and GPO o NPS o RADIUS
2. Management of virtualized infrastructure, XenServer and SAN
3. Deep and proven knowledge in the IP and related protocols and domains: TCP/IP, Ethernet, LAN, WAN, OSPF and other routing protocols.
4. Deep knowledge in telecom low level layers (physical) (ISO level 1) and associated equipment
5. Deep knowledge of Telco/MAN technologies such as DNS, SSH, FTP, DHCP, HTTP(S), NTP, SNMP, SIP)
6. Knowledge of infrastructure software such as OS (Windows, Unix, Linux), Messaging servers, Databases.
7. Knowledge of standards and processes associated with security and relevant technologies: firewall, antivirus, authentication servers, URL filtering, etc.
8. ISO, ITIL, 802.1x
9. Project Planning
10. Risk Management Organizational skills
11. Excellent capacity to listen and understand end-users as well as other experts
12. Translation of business requirements into technical architectures and design specifications
13. Able to write documentation and procedures, autonomous, entrepreneurial, structured, methodology oriented.

Mandatory Required:

• 2 years of experience with similar responsibilities
• English bilingual
