Finance and Admin Intern
The Heinrich Böll Foundation (HBF) is the German Green Political Foundation. Our fundamental values are ecology and sustainability, democracy and human rights, self-determination and justice. The Heinrich Böll Foundation works closely together with local partners in the fields of sustainable development and resource policy as well as the political participation of women and gender democracy.
We are now seeking qualified Cambodian national to fill the position of Finance and Admin Intern, based in HBF Phnom Penh office. The starting date is February 2016.
Duration of Internship: Initially 3 months, potentially extendable.
Main Responsibilities:
- The Finance and Admin Intern will work closely with Finance and Office Manager and Country Director. She/he is responsible for the following task:
- Assist in petty cash and bank operation;
- Assist in pre-checking financial reports submitting from project partners;
- Assist in prepare requisition and procurement of equipments;
- Assist in arrange logistic for meetings/workshops;
- Assist in provide administrative/financial support to the programs;
- Perform other duties as required.
Intended Interns:
- Preferably in the field of business and administration, accounting, finance or management;
- Previous working experience in finance and administration with similar responsibilities would be an asset;
- Strong interpersonal communication skills;
- Very good written and oral knowledge of English language;
- Strong team player with deep commitment to learning and helping others learn;
- Submit updated CV with covering letter in English.
