IDP Education (Cambodia) operates multiple business streams including: English language teaching through its school, the Australian Centre for Education (ACE), operated on three campuses in Phnom Penh and one in Siem Reap, with 14,000+ students; the national management of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); provision of study abroad counselling services; scholarship program management; and conference, event and exhibition management. IDP is seeking qualified applicants for ONE position of Graphic Designer based in Phnom Penh.Roles and responsibilities:
- Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts based on gathering information and design briefs from the supervisor or management team
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas to the Marketing Manager
- Work with a wide range of media to product different type of visual communication
- Amend final designs to Country Director’s comments and gain full approval
- Liaise with suppliers to get the final design produced or published
Key Requirements:
- Proven graphic design experience and skills with a strong portfolio
- Possession of creative flair, visual ability, and originality
- Experience in a marketing role is an advantage
- Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas
- Up to date with industry-leading software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc)
- Professionalism regarding time, costs, and deadlines
- High command of English (a minimum of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent)
- Able to work as part of a team with other designers, marketing officers, IT, web developers
