External School Officer (Sihanouk Ville) -- PSE

Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE)  is a non-profit organization, established in Cambodia in 1995, working to provide food, shelter, medical care, general education and vocational training to children needing support, e.g. underprivileged children; maltreated children; children living in poverty and children without any formal education. PSE has more than 600 employees and provides help to more than 6,500 children in Phnom Penh, Preah Sihanouk and Siem Reap. PSE is seeking competitive and capable candidates to fill 01 positions of External School Officer (Sihanouk Ville) based in Phnom Penh.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage students studying in public school located in Sihanoukville;
• Communicate with school directors in facilitating student enrollment;
• Conduct council discipline based on procedures of the service;
• Prepare monthly payment for students such as supporting teacher, food ticket, extra-course and so on;
• Solve any problems of responsible students with all internal and external stakeholders;
• Keep necessary document for students like birth certificate, transcript record, etc. in appropriate place;
• Correct profile of responsible students (name, date of birth, age, etc.) in database;
• Do weekly and monthly report to supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Year 4 or Fresh graduate student in Management, Community Development, Economics or related filed;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Able to communicate in English or French is an advantage;
• Computer literate (Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet & E-mail);
• Able to work under pressure;
• Integrity and able to keep confidential information;
• Respect and support PSE’s values and mission.
