External School Assistant -- PSE

Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE)  is a non-profit organization, established in Cambodia in 1995, working to provide food, shelter, medical care, general education and vocational training to children needing support, e.g. underprivileged children; maltreated children; children living in poverty and children without any formal education. PSE has more than 600 employees and provides help to more than 6,500 children in Phnom Penh, Preah Sihanouk and Siem Reap. PSE is seeking competitive and capable candidates to fill 01 positions of External School Assistant based in Phnom Penh.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage at least 100 students enrolled in 5 to 8 different public schools;
• Facilitate with students' enrollment with targeted schools;
• Prepare and make monthly payments for students to spending on their study at school;
• Establish and maintain good communication with directors of relevant public schools to make the enrollment and the study progress of PSE students go smoothly and effectively;
• Organize student council discipline following the school procedure and regulations;
• File and store student records and other related documents properly;
• Key in and keep updating student information in the student database;
• Write a monthly report to manager;
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Requirements

• 4^th year student or fresh graduate of a bachelor degree in Management, Study Development, Economics or related fields;
• Have some volunteering or work experience in related job;
• Good communication, time management and interpersonal skills;
• Flexible, creative and dynamic;
• Ability to have a basic communication in English (French is a plus);
• Computer literate;
• Respect and support PSE’s values and mission.
