Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE) is a non-profit organization, established at the end of 1995 in Cambodia, working to provide food, shelter, medical care, general education and vocational training to children needing support, e.g. underprivileged children; maltreated children; children living in poverty and children without any formal education in Phnom Penh, Preahsihanouk and Siem Reap. Currently PSE is providing help to more than 6,500 children, supporting around 3,000 children in public schools, 1,500 in the remedial education program, and 1,500 in the vocational training program. Around 500 children benefit from specific educational programs: classes for children with disability, day-care centers, infant welfare, etc. PSE employs more than 600 dedicated staff. Due to rapid growth of existing and new programs, PSE is seeking candidates to fill the position of Student Affairs Officer based in Phnom Penh.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective administration and student affairs support in PSE School of Technology;
- Prepare, file and maintain documents;
- Organize meetings and appointments;
- Control bicycles and helmets that students borrow from PSE;
- Manage
Study Management System which includes student attendance management,
student score management, student information management;
- Reinforce the effective implementation of student code of conducts and discipline;
- Find, place and follow up internships for students;
- Provide counseling to students to support them in dealing with their problems;
- Design
and implement effective forms, processes and procedures for
administrative and student affairs management in PSE School of
Technology;
- Manage events in PSE School of Technology;
- Assist in creating partners with other relevant schools, institutes and universities;
- Perform other duties assigned by manager.
Job Requirements
- Minimum bachelor degree in business administration, management, English or related fields;
- Relevant working experience;
- Good command of both spoken and written English (French is an advantage);
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Self-motivated, creative and dynamic;
- Ability to solve problems;
- Strong willingness to work with and for vulnerable children;
- IT literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet & E-mail);
- Respect and support PSE’s values and mission.
