Trainers Profile
Mr. Christopher Lee, HEDC International Human Development Specialist. CoOperacy and OPERACY courses were developed by Mr. Lee and based on over 34 Years experience in leading and managing large projects in Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Philippines and Australia.
Mr. KHiM Sok HENG, Senior Human Development Trainer of HEDC. Mr. Sok Heng has work experience in the field human development, people motivation, staff empowerment, change management, leadership, and customer service trainings more than ten years in development, business service industries which are involved of Microfinance institutions. He provides training to more than 100,000 participants from different sectors in Cambodia.
Ms. PEN Bopha, Director of HEDC International. Ms. Bopha has over 10 years of work experience in leading and managing local NGO, International NGOs and train OPERACY and Staff Motivation to students from High schools, universities and Staff from government departments, NGOs, Companies and Microfinance Institutions in Cambodia. She has experiences working in many countries in Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific such as Philippines, Vietnam, Bangladesh and East Timor and being chosen as a young women leader of the world joining program in the United States, Spain and Japan, etc.
Mr. BAN Toshio, Chief Advisor of the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC). Mr. Ban is as an expert of J-Management. He has led CJCC as the most successful ‘Japan Center of JICA’ over the world through his rich experience in innovation and management at Toyota and Honda as an chief engineer, product planner, project leader, general manager of R&D Center in Europe, head of technical college and Honda foundation.
Mr. Koem Oeurn, Director of CJCC. Mr. Koem Oeurn started his career as English language lecturer at the Institute of Foreign Languages of Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) for more than 10 years. He then worked as RUPP assistant president in charge of, among others, international relations for 3 years before he moved to Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport working in higher education subsector as deputy director general. During his tenure, he became interested in leadership and management of higher education institutions. During the last 3 years, he develops a strong interest in Japanese-Style Management when he was appointed as director of the CJCC. During this period, he has had opportunities to attend a number of trainings and workshops in Japan and in Cambodia in Japanese-style leadership and management for knowledge creation and innovation.
Dr. Khim Leang, Manager of CJCC. Dr. Leang is currently the training manager at CJCC where diverse courses on Management and Leadership are provided. He has been a passionate advocate of human resources development in Cambodia as he strongly believes it is a key element to sustainable growth of any institution. He worked for 4.5 years as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the UK. In 2012, he attended a 14-week Fujitsu Leadership and Management Program in the US and Japan. Dr Khim holds a PhD degree in Research and Development in biotechnology from Ehime University, Japan.
Ms. Roeun Cheaseyleak, Deputy Manager of CJCC. Ms. Cheaseyleak graduated from Institute of Foreign Languages of RUPP, majoring in English for International Business in 2009. She is presently working as Deputy Manager of Business Management Department. She has completed 2 months JICA training course in Japan starting in 2011 on the topic of Corporate Management for Productivity Improvement including “5S and Kaizen (Continuous Improvement)” with some experiences of giving the consultation to the manufacturing plants in Japan. Back from Japan, she becomes one of 5S trainers and 5S committee leader at CJCC, recommending advice and giving consultation for improving the daily work in the office. Recently, she became one of the trainers in CJCC providing the specific course on 5S-KAIZEN to several private companies like CAMS-International Airport in Siem Reap and Sun International Clinic (Japanese Company).
