The U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh is offering a Student Internship Program to Cambodian students from June to September, 2014.
Program Eligibility
In order to be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- must be an active student at a public or private higher education institution;
- must have already completed two years of studies in the institution;
- must be at least 18 years old; and
- must have certification from school administration allowing student to participate in the program covering the period above.
Qualifications Required
- Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and using the Internet.
- Level III (good working knowledge - Speaking/Reading/Writing) English and Khmer are required. Language proficiency will be tested.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, oral, written communication skills and must be able to work independently.
Job Description
- Organize office supplies by most frequently used and make them more accessible for CDC personnel.
- Compile a list of items for disposal by model and serial numbers.
- Dispose of obsolete items using USG government and CDC Cambodia disposal regulations.
