Volunteer Opportunity for Social Marketing

Dimensions: As Volunteer will support the overall operation of Social marketing project including the support the sale in Battambang platform and assist to Social Marketing manager in the related pilot projects.
Teuk Saat 1001 NGO is seeking for qualified volunteer student in Social marketing to assist some relevant works in the delivery project.
Background:
“Teuk Saat 1001” is a Cambodian non-governmental organization created as an offshoot of a safe drinking water supply project in rural area in partnership with the French NGO “1001 fontaines pour demain”. The first stage of the initiative started in 2005, in North West Cambodia. There are currently 50 sites in Battambang, Banteay Meanchey and Siem Reap. And more than 30 sites in the 4 differences provinces (Kandal, Kampong Cham, Prey Veng and Kampong Speu). These 80 sites provide more than 100,000 people daily with safe drinking water.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Advisor of Social Entrepreneur (ASE)to make the awareness on health, water and sanitation in Battambang
- Support team(ASE) to make the survey on field on water
- Assist Social marketing manager on field in the delivery projects and prepare some documents.
- Support team (ASE) on other roles as required.
Key competencies:
- Student in Bachelor degree economics, management, marketing or the equivalent (study at the weekend is encouraged)
- Interest in safe drinking water issues in rural villages
- Basic English is preference
- Basic computer use (at least Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Commitment to learning about news skills project
- Capacity to travel to village
Note: Teuk Saat 1001 NGO is scaling up the project every year. Volunteered student will have an opportunity to promote as staff according to the qualified position.
