Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE) is a non-profit organization, established at the end of 1995 in Cambodia, working to provide food, shelter, medical care, general education and vocational training to destitute, maltreated, abused and uneducated children in Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville and Siem Reap.
Currently PSE is providing help to more than 6,500 children, supporting around 3,000 children in public schools, 1,500 in the remedial education program, and 1,500 in the vocational training program. Around 500 children benefit from specific educational programs: classes for children with a disability, day-care centers, infant welfare etc.
PSE employs more than 500 dedicated staff. Due to rapid growth of existing and new programs, PSE is seeking for a potential candidate for a vacant position of Medical Doctor (01 post), based in Phnom Penh
Responsibilities
- Provide for appropriate treatment, medication, and prescription to all patients (PSE staff, students and student's parents)
- Provide a treatment service and diagnosis to all PSE students at least one time per year Provide and follow up all vaccination to students
- Keep up to date with medical developments, new disease widespread, treatments and medications, including preventive methods and share information to clients if necessary
- Ensure each patient have a clear, accurate, medical record and keep this file appropriately
- Work closely with teachers and community to promoting health education to students and villagers
- Work closely with referral hospitals, hospital and partner clinics in the case of emergency
- Check and follow up all patient who stay in PSE infirmary especially for serious diseases
- Work closely with team and supervisor
Requirements
- Graduate from Medical Doctor or other similar degrees
- Minimum three year related experiences
- Effective practice skills and decision making skills
- Strong disease and symptom diagnosis and patient consultation
- IT literate (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, E-mail…)
- Be able to use French or English; Both languages are a plus
- Professional, Friendly, patient and team building
- Be ethical, confidential and private concerns
