World Vision Cambodia (WVC) is a Christian relief and development organization committed to working with poor communities, focused on children, to transform lives and Cambodian society through Sustainable development. We are seeking for qualified Cambodian to fill the position of Capacity Building Officer in Trafficked Sexually Abused Children in Cambodia (ATSACC) Project, Peace and Justice Program based in Phnom Penh.
NEED:
  • Bachelor Degree is required in the areas of pedagogy and other relevant discipline; degree in social work, psychology, and development study is an advantage.
  • At least two years of experiences in working with NGO/UN agencies with proven records of direct / indirect involvement in trainings / facilitation, organizing and / or coordinating workshop/inter-agency meeting.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and an ability to work closely and supportively within team.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to provinces i.e. Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, Battambang, and others for project activities
  • Initiative and proactive in working under pressure, setting priority and handling multiple task simultaneously.
  • Proven records of high integrity.
  • Aware of and willing to support the organization in the pursuit of World Vision’s Mission statement and Core Value; matured Christian is an advantage.
  • High degree of written and verbal communication in both Khmer and English.

JD:

  • Assist Project Manager in providing strategic coordination, and harmonization of the all ATSACC and Support Caregivers Project’s trainings including direct implementation of World Vision’s components and supervision.
  • Act as primary liaison between ATSACC and all partner shelters, and consultant for organizing and coordinating capacity building activities to caregivers.
  • Coordinate and assist with PM and partner shelters in selection and assessment of participants to ensure proper review, evaluation, and documentation of their trainings, progress in performance, development and management of their capacity.
  • Assist Project Manager in coordinating, organizing and facilitating ATSACC and Support Caregiver workshop/training courses include preparing logistic, per diem, accommodation, transportation for participant from province.
  • Assist ATSACC/SC Project Manager and key stakeholders in preparing annual project Plans of
  • Action (PoA) and budget, according to donor and WVC requirements, guidelines and policy.
  • Assist PM in monitoring the implementation of the project to ensure that the project systems and staff are working to achieve goals and objectives; and that the project is maintaining World
  • Vision International (WVI) and donor accountability standards.
  • Assist Project Manager in identifying and assessing shelters of partner-organizations for partnership, supports, and capacity buildings to their caregivers.
  • Assist Project Manager in preparing high quality Terms of Reference (ToR), Memorandum of
  • Understandings (MoU), and Contract Agreements for partnership and collaboration the selected shelters.
  • Assist Project Manager in preparing and creating the learning-monitoring tool for assessing all trainees who attended the training to measure the impact of the training.
  • Establish and maintain healthy and supportive relationship others projects and support departments within Peace & Justice Program, with other Operations and Programs, with NO-based strategic departments such as Audit, Finance, Staff Capacity Building, Christian
  • Commitment, Child Protection Unit, Information Technology, Human Resource/Administration, LEAP, Gender and Development and Communications.
  • Assist Project Manager to ensure that all project financial and / or non-financial transactions, assets, photos and text documents are professionally, accurately and accountably processed, documented, utilized, transported, and stored in a secure place within WVC official/designate premises, and to be in accordance with WVC Stewardship/Financial Policy, HR Policy, IT Policy,
  • Child Protection Policy, and other applicable policies.
