Based in Phnom Penh, we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant to Executive Director to work closely with the Executive Director and the Management Committee to assist with daily functions and assist in the coordination of general operations. The CWCC, a highly regarded local not-for-profit organisation, has been operating since 1997 and continues to grow its services to women and children who are victims of domestic violence, rape, and trafficking. The CWCC's vision is to eliminate violence against women and is committed to reducing violence through legal structural reforms and direct services for women.
Based in Phnom Penh, we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant to Executive Director to work closely with the Executive Director and the Management Committee to assist with daily functions and assist in the coordination of general operations. CWCC is seeking to appoint a capable, energetic, and committed person this role.
NEED:
- Ability to collate data and demonstrate strong analytical skills to prepare donor reports and preparation of grant proposals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with different stakeholders of different backgrounds and cultures including foreign donors.
- Excellent written and communication skills in Khmer and English.• Minimum 2 years experience working in similar role.
- Formal qualification (at least bachelor degree) in Business Management, Development and Gender, or relevant disciplines.
- Most importantly, gender sensitive and committed to women’s rights.
JD:
- Coordinates the Executive Directors daily activities and guests appointments.
- Prepare documents, presentations and other administrative duties of Executive Director.
- Participate in CWCC’s Financial and Management Committee.
- Takes minutes of Board Meeting with the Executive Director.
- Assist the Executive Director in reviewing and enforcement of CWCC policies and regulations and recommend changes.
- Assists in the preparation of grant proposals to donors and continue to source new donors.
- Assist the Executive Director in monitoring and evaluation of program operations on a regular basis.• Maintains Executive Director’s official files and administration.
- Collate, edit and submit donor reports in a timely manner.
- Liaise and build relationships with staff, relevant NGO and donors.
- Assist Executive Director with preparation and management of media.
