The AsiaGlobal Fellows Program is a global initiative designed to
nurture future leaders in public policy. The 13-week, interdisciplinary
program consists of lectures by academics, senior government officials
and business leaders, skill training workshops, and onsite visits to
different Asian capitals and manufacturing centers.
Activities
throughout the program are organized to maximize knowledge-sharing
and interaction between the Fellows and their mentors, members of the
Faculty Committee, as well as with the businesspersons and policy makers
who share their time and knowledge with the group .
The
AsiaGlobal Fellows Program is directed and administered by the Asia
Global Institute (AGI) at The University of Hong Kong, a
multidisciplinary institute which aims to bring Asian perspectives to
global issues. AGI provides platforms for policy makers, business, and
civil society leaders to explore timely and critical issues in an
informed and objective manner. AGI’s research and programs are
supported by a network of international academics, practitioners and
policy makers in Hong Kong, at HKU, and beyond.
The Program is
carried out under the overall supervision of Professor Zhiwu Chen,
Director of the Asia Global Institute and Victor and William Fung
Professor in Economics at HKU. The Program Director is Dr Patrick Low,
Visiting Professor at the Business and Economics Faculty at HKU and
former Chief Economist of the World Trade Organization.
We are pleased to announce the call for candidates for the 2018

inter-disciplinary, intensive leadership development and networking
opportunities for mid-career professionals interested in Asian public
policy matters.
