Taxation law is a major risk factor among others which business owners need and must to understand and analyze to avoid the serious penalties and fines. The tax risk can be occurred due to two main factors such as the lack of deep understanding of legal obligations, how to fill in a tax form and how to implement.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
- Understanding of the regulations and laws which are current practices related to the Cambodian Taxation Law.
- Discussion on issues relevant to the implementation of the current practices.
- Preparation of the Monthly Tax Declaration and Annual Taxes to the Tax Department
- How to calculate the amount tax due to be paid to the Tax Department.

Sochenda holds a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Accounting Degree from Norton Unversity. Sochenda is also a student member of Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA) and student member of ACCA.
Sochenda has been working with the International Business Chamber (IBC), the Government Working Group D on Legal & Tax and a member of Tax Working Group with the Cambodia General Department of Taxation. Sochenda seconded to KPMG in Singapore for 3 months in Tax Advisory of International Corporate Tax. She has involved in assisting team to provide cross-border tax issues.
Sochenda has been an engagement manager for various tax engagements including tax compliance, tax audit assistance, tax advisory and monthly and yearly tax compliance, covering a diverse range of sectors, including oil and gas, bankings and microfinance, airlines, hotels, trading, manufacturing, construction, education, telecom and tranporation. Also, Sochenda has provided Tax Due Diligence services and business restructuring advice.
Sochenda has delivered tax trainings in Khmer and English to a number of her clients including monthly and annual tax training.
