Recruiting and selecting a new employee is one of the most important decisions any manager can make. A strong appointment adds huge value to the organization and furthers the achievement of its objectives. A poor appointment can negatively impact on customers, work teams and organizational effectiveness; and cost a great deal of money.

Mr. Phann Sopheara has earned his executive leadership from Cornell University in addition to his Master of Business Administration from Western University. Mr. Sopheara has more than 10-year experience in training and development as well as people management. For many years, he has worked in management positions that allow him to work on various functions including, recruitment and selection, training and developing staff, dealing with difficult, coaching, problem solving and making decisions, and counseling at both national and international corporations including Sofitel, Raffles, and NagaWorld. Currently, Mr. Sopheara is the manager/HR business partner of NagaWorld, where there are more than 5,000 employees. Apart from ensuring HR practices in the various departments are in compliance with Corporate HR guidelines and Cambodian Labor Law, in the position, Mr. Sopheara has managed recruitment and selection of all levels of staff and management of the NagaWorld.
