Community Development Project Manager (1 position based in Prey Sa UCDP, Phnom Penh)

Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international humanitarian and development NGO. GNI has made great strides in its mission by providing people around the world with a better quality of life. Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) is the field country project that has been implementing its projects in Cambodia since 2002. GNC is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Community Development Project Manager (1 position based in Prey Sa UCDP, Phnom Penh)

Job description:

• Manage and support the CDP staff to ensure good individual and team performance in support of quality program and good stewardship.
• Facilitate effective teamwork, coordination and work planning between CDP and SSD staff in support of program objectives.
• Project design and proposal development: Complete project designs which include community needs assessments, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
• Planning and implementation: develop the project’s annual plan of action and annual budget and revise the project’s plan of action when necessary.
• Monitoring & Evaluation: monitor and evaluate implementation of field activities to ensure that the project system and staff are working to achieve the project goals and objectives.
• Reporting: prepare project reports to government, HO and other interested bodies.
• Partnership: Develop and maintain good relations with Government, district, commune, village leaders and NGOs in the project target areas.
• Training and coordinate: staff training and development opportunities and complete annual performance and development appraisals.

Requirement :

• Bachelor of Business Management or Rural Development or relevant degree
• 3 year- experience in the related field with LNGOs or INGOs is desired
• Minimum 2 years of appropriate professional experience in management and leadership of a comparable community development program/project.
• A good knowledge of community development, Social Enterprise, microfinance and market based approach is desired
• Experience in project design, implementation, monitoring & evaluation
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Good English and Computer skill (Ms. word, Excel, PPT)
