The Europubhealth+ programme is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree that has been recognized as a Master of excellence by the European Commission since 2006.
The Europubhealth+ consortium awards Erasmus+: Erasmus Mundus scholarships to the best candidates who apply before the indicated deadline each year.
When creating an online profile, applicants must choose the relevant category based on the following rules:
All countries in the world are divided in two categories under the Erasmus+ programme:
- Programme countries are the 27 European Union member states + the United Kingdom*, Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey and Serbia.
- Partner countries are all the countries in the world that are not listed above.
*The United Kingdom will still be considered as a Programme country within the Europubhealth+ Master course until 2023-2025 intake.
- Students fall under the Programme country category when:
+ they are citizens of one of the Programme countries
OR
+ they are citizens of a Partner country but they have been residents or have carried out their main activity (studies, training or work) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of the Programme Countries. The five year reference period is calculated backwards as from January 2022 (this 12-month residency rule does not apply to candidates who for various reasons and under various circumstances have sought refuge and received a refugee status in a Programme Country).
- Students fall under the Partner country category when they are not a Programme Country student as defined by the above mentioned rules.
- Students with a double nationality (of both a Partner and a Programme Country) must specify the nationality under which they submit their application.
Scholarship amount:
EMJMD scholarships cover travel expenses, participation costs and living costs for the entire duration of the Master course (max. 46,000€ for the two-year course). The total amount of the grant can vary according to the nationality and the place of residence of the scholarship holder. Therefore, a proof of the current place of residence at the time of application is mandatory to provide at application stage when applying for a scholarship.
