JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
The Transcultural Psychosocial Organization Cambodia (TPO) is a NGO providing comprehensive services in mental health since 2000. We are currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the following vacancy. The purpose of the position is to provide effective outreach interventions and psychological treatment:Counselor (based in Battambang):
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide phone and face-to-face counseling as well as home visits to the project’s beneficiaries;
- Conduct Testimonial Therapy;
- Manage case files of clients;
- Participate in internal and external capacity building and supervision.
- Implement truth-telling interventions, victim-perpetrator dialogues and Forum Theatre in close collaboration with the project’s staff members and partner organizations;
- Conduct monitoring activities;
- Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years working experience in providing counseling in mental health or social work
- Good spoken English
- Proficiency in Windows.
The position requires good computer skills in Word, Excel and Power-Point, good communication skills and team work approach, a strong commitment to client's needs and to personal development!
