This seminar will provide you the core knowledge and major technical of the law and legislation related to annual profit tax by applying the real practical experience. This interactive course not only provides you the proper way to complete annual profit tax return but also the effective way to complete its relevant schedule such as charitable contribution, interest expense, tax depreciation, provision and tax loss carried forward. In addition, the course will help and guide accountants and tax persons to become the professional staffs and perform the effective tax work and accounting task which involve with tax matter.
Training Objectives
At the end of this informative and practical training course, the participants will be able to:
- Know taxable income and non-taxable income
- know the requirement of deductible expense and non-deductible expense
- Calculate and prepare the schedule for maximum deductible charitable contribution and non-deductible charitable contribution
- Calculate and prepare the schedule for maximum deductible interest expense and interest carried forward
- Determine and prepare the schedule of tax depreciation, amortization and depletion
- Calculate and prepare the schedule of gain/(loss) on disposal of fixed asset for tax purposes
- Understand the nature of and rule on provision and prepare its schedule for tax purpose
- Determine and prepare the schedule of tax loss carried forward
- Know about the relationship between annual profit tax, minimum tax and prepayment of profit tax.

Training Methodology
Pre- and post-training evaluation: it is used to assess the changes of trainees’ skills, knowledge and attitude before and the end of seminar.
Presentation: The trainer will present the subjects whilst participants actively listen, and take notes. Participants will be encouraged to express their comments by asking questions and providing answers from their personal experience.
Group/panel discussion: Participants are assigned to work in small groups through brainstorming, discussion, outlining, selecting and analyzing ideas, which allows participants to contribute their comments and experiences to the whole group. This enables participants to respond and react to each other’s contributions, and allows individuals and groups to engage with and discuss their comments with the class as a whole.
Role Play: Participants will have the opportunity to improve their skills, attitudes, and perceptions in real situations through role-play. Participants are encouraged to be creative, flexible and to act out actual conditions, which will enable participants to express their personal experiences of customer-service situations.
Activities: In order to make the training more active and to facilitate a friendly environment, participants will be introduced to a variety of activities that are designed to entertain, stimulate interest and maintain alertness, as well as fostering the recall of information and skills.
Case Studies: In order to assist participants to visualize what they have learnt into actual practice, many case studies will be introduced. Participants will have to work as a team to reflect their understanding.
Question and Answer: It encourages participants to discover their confusing and/or unclear part of the subjects and ask question to clarify, whilst all participants can actively listen and absorb at the same time.
Trainer’s Credentials
Mr. SEAN Soeurn has a BBA in the field of Accounting from the Royal University of Law and Economics. Soeurn is pursuing ACCA at CamEd Business School and also holds a Diploma of Cambodia Taxation from this school. He currently works for one of the leading MFI as Head of Tax and Compliance Unit. He has more than 7 years of tax and accounting experience with various type of business sector included MFI, International Accounting Firm, Education and NGO. His extensive experience allowed him to involve and manage various tax assignments and exercises such as monthly and annually tax compliance, tax audit assistance, tax health check, tax advisory and tax due diligence of securities firms, manufacturing companies, garment industries, trading companies, tourism companies, pharmaceutical industries, educational centers, service enterprises and qualified investment projects. He also actively involves with bookkeeping and manages accounting work. Besides, He has almost 5 years training experiences on tax and accounting at one of the leading university and NGO. The main subjects he had trained are principle of accounting, financial accounting, accounting software (QuickBooks and Peachtree) and law on taxation.
