Who is the trainer?
Two Trainer’s Credentials
Mr. Lun Chantheng has more than ten-year work experiences in Human Resources Management and organizational development. Presently, he is working for Ly Chhuong Construction & Import Export Co., Ltd (LCC) in which he is providing human resources management services to over seven hundred employees. He spent more than two-year experiences with IPR microfinance as Head of Human Resources, where his responsibilities focus on HR strategic management, HR policy framework, compensation and benefits, recruitment, staff capacity building, employee relations, and labor law reinforcement. His career started with AMRET as General Trainer between 2001 and 2003, with World Vision Cambodia as HR Coordinator between 2003 and 2008, and with CARE International Cambodia as Senior HR & Development Officer between 2008 and 2011.
Chantheng holds Bachelor Degree of Economics from Royal University of Law and Economics, and Master of Business Administration in General Management from Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia. He has attended Human Resource Management organized by World Vision Regional Office in Bangkok, Human Resource Management with CARE USA, and attended various short courses in management and leadership skills with Harvard University, USA.
Mr. Phat Thomas has an MBA in the field of management from BBU. He currently works for leading MFIs (HKL) as Administration Director. He had worked for 11 years’ experience with a microfinance institution, Pharmaceutical distributor as HR and administration Director, and GNOs in the field of human resources and administration management. He also attended many local and international practical training programs on staff management, effective performance management, leadership, communication, administration management, human resource management, and development of SMEs in the Mekong region in Japan and exposer training on practical HR management in Philippine.
He has almost 8 years experiences on providing both Practical and Theory training to many universities levels, such as Human Resources Management, Office Management, Principle management, Strategy management, Entrepreneurship and time management and practical training to many companies and NGOs on Effective Practical Administration management, Effective Practical human resources management, Effective compensation and benefit management, Effective staff performance management, and Effective Training of trainer, and etc.
Training Methodology
The training methodology will be focused on Experience Based and Participatory Approaches include: lecture, student-centered including brainstorming, role play, small group discussion with plenary presentation, plenary discussion, group work, team involvement in decision making, participants’ problems raised during the workshop for discussion, communication game and any other contributions will be held in high respect.
Training tools, materials and facilities
The LCD projector, flipcharts, posters, color papers, handouts, folders, pens, papers and other stationeries, especially, daily evaluation and final evaluation and other specific materials were used to present key learning concepts and structures and to make good environment for learning and to ensure the training run smoothly and efficiency.
