Course Profile

This course will explore and elaborate one of the most powerful management processes in use today, namely budgeting and Cash Flow. The course has been designed based on the following assumptions about learners:

Some managers have never done any budgeting activities in their companies.
Some managers are concerned about making budgetary plans and controlling the implementation of these plans, but do not know how.
Some managers are not fully aware of the benefits of budgets or how to make budgets useful for them.
Some managers do not know the complete process of budgeting.

Trainer Profile:

Mr. Neou Seiha is an economist, specialized in finance, modeling, research and project management. He has his bachelor degree in Economics and Management, and his master of Econometrics and Economics specializing in Informative Engineering to the Decision and to the economic Assessment, from University of LUMIERE LYON II, France.

Mr. Seiha has in-depth experience in finance, economics analysis, research, and project management. Currently he sits a board member and works as Chief Financial Officer of Westline Education Group. In this position, he produces, implements, and monitors the 10-Years Business Financial Plan and Annual Financial Plan of the Westline Education Group.

He was a research manager and deputy of executive committee of Economic Institute of Cambodia, where he served as a well-known Cambodian economist and the main author of bi-annual publication “Cambodia Economic Watch”. In this position, he monitored economic modeling and forecasting, and managed research project planning, staff, and budgeting. Since 2006, Mr. Seiha has done research and produced publications of many projects.

Methodology
The following methods will be used during the course: open discussions, case studies, brainstorming and mini-lectures.
